Ahoy and happy Friday. How is the revision process shaping up? Do you have your work that you are going to submit all put together in one file? Have you written down the Burning Heart of your story? The big theme? Good! Now spend your daily writing time with your work, starting at the top and looking at it, not one line at a time, but one paragraph or section or scene at a time. Are you saying what you need most to say? What other ways can you weave in your important theme or themes? If a paragraph does not support it, do what you can to tweak it so it does. We are not looking for polished work, but we are looking for complete work, for all the things you can put on the page. On Monday we will talk about further refinement, and how to handle beta readers, and on Tuesday we will share our work. Please chime in below, and Happy Revising!
